All classes suitable for all levels, beginners to advanced.
Yin Class

A Yin class is a deeply nourishing and meditative practice which encourages one to slow down, relax and turn within. The practice usually consists of a series of longer held passive floor poses, mainly focused on the lower part of the body, which can be very effective in improving flexibility, boosting circulation, and alleviating tension. The poses may be held for up to 5 minutes in length and incorporate principles of Chinese Medicine with a focus on stimulating the meridians and connective tissues of the body. This practice is suitable for all levels from beginners to advanced.
Yin Yang

Yin/Yang blends two styles of practice into one bringing together the benefits of passively held postures (Yin) with the more dynamic flow aspect (Yang). The first half of the practice is a slow flow sequence to connect into the Yang (Masculine) principle of movement. The second part of the practice is Yin (Feminine) principle of inward reflection with longer held floor poses. This practice is suitable for all levels and is perfect for those wanting a combination of movement and relaxation.
Slow Flow

This practice is a gentle flow practice which is suitable for all levels and focuses on a steady deliberate pace of movement. Slow flow is a great way to renew your energy and combines deep breathing, stretching and relaxed postures to bring renewed energy and serenity to your mind and body with plenty of time to sink into deeper poses towards the end of the practice.
Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a slower, more restful, passive approach to yoga that is meant to melt away physical, mental and emotional tension. It is a perfect way to relax and renew mind, body and spirit. All poses in this practice are supported poses done on the floor using various props such as bolsters, blankets and blocks, and are designed to encourage deep relaxation. When the body is fully supported in the poses, one is able to fully relax and let go. This practice is recommended for all levels. Check the class schedule for the next scheduled restorative practice.
Meditation

All meditation classes are designed to encourage an inner focus and are a wonderful way to release mental and emotional tension. Various meditation techniques are taught within the classes including breath focus and mantra repetition. Different aspects of yogic philosophy are weaved into the meditation classes with an emphasis on self enquiry as a way of working with the state of mind and taking one into a deeper meditative state. All levels are welcome to all meditation offerings as they simply meet you where you are at in your own meditation journey.
Gentle Yoga

A gentle practice geared to beginners and those looking for a softer practice. The first half of this practice focuses on slow flowing movements with breath and some basic standing poses followed by supported yin and restorative poses all done on the floor. A long relaxation is offered at the end of the practice.
Foundations
