About the Studio

Sacred Garden Studio
The creation of Sacred Garden Studio came about out of a divinely guided desire to create a sacred space for students to explore their own deep healing of mind, body and spirit, while being held in a space of unconditional love and acceptance.
The studio is a cocooned private setting surrounded by an array of greenery, with a range of tropical plants and trees. While having an open air feel, and the sounds of nature creating a peaceful immersed experience, the Sacred Garden Studio embodies the divine essence of Mother Nature herself.
Upon completion of the studio, it became clear that the space was not only about offering a refuge for individual healing and self reflection, but that it also provided an opportunity where students could come together and connect with like-minded people. Having worked in many different studios over the years, I have experienced the benefits of building a community. In yoga we refer to this “community” as a Sangha. Being part of a Sangha of like-minded individuals can provide support as we navigate our own personal journey of self-discovery and healing. I feel my purpose at this time is to provide a nurturing space to help grow a supportive community regardless of where one is on their yogic path.
I therefore welcome students of all levels to come experience the space and connect with our beautiful Sangha each week as we journey on our paths of self-discovery. Come join us!
My Yoga Journey

I discovered the sacred path of Yoga during my travels in India and Nepal back in 2000. This marked the beginning of a deep and transformative journey back to myself.
As my immersion into the ancient practice of yoga deepened, it was clear that Yoga was much more than just strengthening and opening the physical body, but that the practice had the potential for deep healing of the mind, body and emotions.
Yoga could offer a path to truly help one to feel more balanced and at peace with the challenges of our modern lives. As Yoga had made such a profound shift in my own life, I decided I wanted to learn to teach and share these amazing practices. It was from here that I embarked on a two-year Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teacher Training in 2005 with Nature Care College and began teaching shortly after completion of my Diploma in 2007. I have been teaching ever since.
I teach a variety of classes including slow flow, yin and meditation. My classes are often described as a fusion of yogic philosophy, asana (postures), pranayama (breathing), and meditation.
I have been blessed to study under many wonderful teachers. One teacher who has been very influential on my path has been Sally Kempton.
Through extensive study with Sally for over 10 years, I have learned the art of truly embodying ancient yogic wisdom to facilitate deep healing.
Through this embodiment, I feel more able to guide students in their own healing journey, giving them the tools and practices to gain a greater understanding of themselves, cultivating more inner balance and peace.
In recent years my journey through Sally’s teachings has guided me to intensive study and practice in the teachings of the Divine Feminine (Shakti/Goddess).
These practices are really the Heart of what I feel called to share with my students. I am honoured to be able to offer regular workshops on the sacred teachings connecting with the Goddess energies of the Indian tradition.
This ancient wisdom is truly a gift for our times, offering a transformative and potent path to connecting with our true Divine essence.
